Trump and Notorious Climate Change Denier Jim Inhofe Tweet About the Latest Climate Change Report

Today, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the worldwide body which includes the most distinguished scientists of climate change, released its long-anticipated Report on the extreme danger to Terra Firma yet (https://www.politico.com/news/2021/08/09/climate-change-scientists-report-disastrous-502799).

This, on the same day that wildfires in Turkey, Greece, and California are raging out of control.

Donald Trump and Oklahoma’s senior senator, 86-year old Jim

Inhofe — the author of The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future (2012) — read headlines (and headlines only) about the IPCC’s comprehensive report.

So they instantly tweeted, in the presence of associate solitary reporter Johanna Jones, that there are no facts whatsoever in the IPCC’s report.

“The only facts that Jim and I ever look at,” Trump said, “are alternative facts. There are no extreme climate events anywhere in the world — no floods, no mudslides, and certainly no forest fires anywhere.”

When Jones demurred, the Secret Service grabbed her and put her in an undisclosed location in Mar-a-Lago.
