Donald Trump, by far the most thin-skinned man ever to sit behind the Resolute Desk, has taken himself and what’s left of the GOP to a New Low.
At taxpayer expense, he made Republican legislators from Michigan meet him today and made them grovel, only — guess what — Michigan Senate Majority Leader, Mike Shirkey, did not shirk (groaner! moaner!!) his duty, because after he left Trump’s presence, he said that President-Elect Biden’s win in the Wolverine State stands (https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/20/politics/georgia-certify-secretary-of-state-raffensperger/index.html).
Michigan’s Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, did a great interview today on NPR.
Our DC-based associate solitary reporter, Keith Coleman, who went to law school in Michigan, texted Benson to tell her that whenever Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, also a True Blue Dem (see https://abc7chicago.com/michigan-governor-gretchen-whitmer-kidnapping-plot-militia/8079861/) leaves office to run for President in 2028, Benson should run for Governor.
