Why Taiwan's President Gave Her Green Island to Trump

One of the first foreign leaders to call Donald Trump, after the results of the 2016 election became both clear and unclear, was Taiwan’s President, Tsai Ing-wen.

And, to the astonishment of diplomats all over the world, Trump took her call, and China’s president-for-life, Xi Jinping, took great umbrage.

At that time, Trump knew very little about how to conduct foreign relations, and, these days, he knows even less. The fact that he took Tsai’s phone call came as a shock to anyone who knows that the People’s Republic of China looks askance at any official contact between the United States and Taiwan.

The World Health Organization is doing its utmost to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, with no help at all from Trump, who’s furious at the WHO’s Director-General, ቴዎድሮስ አድሓኖም ገብረኢየሱስ

(Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus). Trump claims that Ghebreyesus favors Xi over him.

Trump is no fan at all of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), one of the most vocal supporters of the Green New Deal.

That’s extremely ironic, because our top sleuth, associate solitary reporter Susanna Sherman, has just completed a top-secret investigation, with the tacit support of Richard Grenell, Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, into President Tsai’s more than top-secret sale of her Green Island, off Taiwan’s east coast, to Trump.

Green Island is Taiwan’s seventh largest island, and it was once a penal colony during the Taiwan dictatorship of Chiang Kai-shek, but it’s now a tourist resort, similar to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, only Green Island is not owned by a mega-rich man.

Associate solitary reporter reporter Eddie Cook, a prominent evangelical pastor in Denver, is a close associate of another prominent evangelical, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Only one minute ago, Cook texted us to tell us that Pompeo had just informed him that the reason that President Tsai decided to sell her Green Island to Trump is so Trump can use it to launch an all-out air attack on Xi, in retaliation for Xi’s rude comments about Trump, after Trump accused Xi of covering up the full extent of the Wuhan coronavirus. See, for example, https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/18/asia/china-world-health-assembly-investigation-intl-hnk/index.html.

So we called the UN’s Secretary-General, Antonio Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, who immediately stopped his efforts to avoid a nuclear war between North Korea and the United States, and issued a grave warning to both Trump and Xi to step back, take some really deep breaths, and avoid a Third World War.
