Has Anybody Figured Out Why Trump Won't Wear a Face Mask?

Mothers’ Day, 2020

These days, because of the coronavirus pandemic, it is essential, as in really essential, to wear face masks when outside, as well as inside, when appropriate.

Donald Trump, restless as usual, and highly vexed by having to stay in the White House, “escaped” to Arizona (a red state that’s certain to turn Blue in November) to visit a facility which is making badly needed face masks (https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/05/politics/trump-arizona-trip/index.html).

He understands very little about science, as we’ve already reported (https://www.apocryphalpress.com/2020/04/23/trump-s-total-ignorance-of-science-and-knowledge-and-what-everyone-should-know-about-georgia-s-governor/).

The CoronaVirus is everywhere, in tiny microbes and droplets.

Trump won’t wear a face mask because it prevents him from spitting on his political enemies — something he’s really good at.

Associate solitary reporter Lewis Thompson III and associate solitary reporter Anthony Newcom are both retired professors of English Literature, which is why they both texted us, very early this morning, with this quote from the late, great Oscar Wilde (1854-1900): “A mask tells us more than a face.”

Trump doesn’t mask the political virus that he’s spreading throughout our nation and this precious planet.

In fact, he thrives on the virus that he’s spreading.
