Our Liar-in-Chief Says His Father Was Born in Germany

Donald Trump doesn’t know the difference between Norway and Germany, and he’s said some really stupid things about NATO.

The Secretary General of NATO is Norwegian Jens Stoltenberg.

Today, with Secretary General Stoltenberg sitting next to him, Trump said his father was born in Germany.

He’s said it before (https://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2019/04/03/lead-panel-3-trump-taxes-live-jake-tapper.cnn).

Ain’t true. His paternal grandfather, Friedrich (Frederick) Trump (1869-1918), was born in Germany, but we don’t know whether Frederick woulda been a Nazi, but sometimes we here at AP think Trump is a

Nazi — not quite, but he’s so mentally ill and so fascinated by dictators that…..

Not only that, Mitch McConnell, who is a much better pol than Trump, went out of his way, together with Speaker Nancy Pelosi, to invite Stoltenberg to address a Joint Session of Congress, without consulting the White House.

What does that tell you about what Congressional leaders of both parties think of our Liar-in-Chief?

To answer that question, we turned to associate solitary reporter Johanna Jones, who spends a lot more time with Trump than he does with his third trophy wife.

“SR,” Jones began, “both McConnell and Pelosi think he’s a total dipshit."
