Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s getting closer and closer, and Donald Trump knows it.
Taking risks is a big deal for people who crave money and power.
Trump’s former Campaign Chairman, longtime GOP operative Paul Manafort, told Trump that he would serve free for nothing as his Campaign Chairman in 2016. He did that because he knew full well that if Trump could beat Hillary, he'd be able to brag ad nauseam about how skillful he is in obtainiing results.
That’s how Washington works.
But Manafort has broken his plea deal agreement with Mueller. He refuses to cooperate with Mueller and his team and say everything he knows about the thousands of misdeeds that Trump has committed.
Nothing bothers Trump as much these days as the extremely appropriate and necessary Mueller investigation into the Trump campaign’s obvious collusion with Vladimir Putin (https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/28/politics/donald-trump-robert-mueller-behavior/index.html).
Trump Campaign Chairman Manafort was at the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian lawyer Ната́лья Влади́мировна Весельни́цкая (Natalia Vladimirovna Veselnitskaya). So was Son-in-Law-in-Chief Jared Kushner and Trump Jr.
Numerous untruthful statements about the purpose of that meeting have been made, including by Trump Jr.
Initially, it was said that Veselnitskaya wanted to talk about the Magnitsky Act (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnitsky_Act#Trump_Tower_meeting), but then, it turned out that Veselnitskaya (who, being a sensible woman, never wanted to be part of Trump’s Miss Universe pageant) was going to offer the Trump campaign “dirt” on Hillary Clinton — who was way way more qualified to preside in the Oval Office than Trump, who had never been elected to any public office.
The simiple truth is, there was no “dirt” on Hillary that Veselnitskaya had. That’s because, although Hillary entered that campaign with lotsa baggage, she knew (and still knows) infinitely more about governing that the 238 pound slob who managed to grab more Electoral College votes than she did.
Associate solitary reporter Johanna Jones is the major stockholder in Naked Juice. Though she has never seen Donald Trump naked (who would want to?), she was at the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Veselnitskaya, and she captured everything that was said there on tape.
Needless to say, ASR Jones long ago gave Mueller that tape.
Which is to say that one of these days, Trump will have to strip naked after he arrives at the U.S. Penitentiary in Hazelton, West Virginia.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons has selected the Hazelton facility to house Trump because Trump loves holding rallies in the Mountain State.
