Yesterday, from his exclusive resort in Bedminster, Donald Trump claimed that he never pushed his fellow Republicans to support immigration legislation.
That’s interesting, because he did, in a major way, as reported by Politico’s Brent Griffiths (https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/30/donald-trump-immigration-vote-tweets-689501).
So we can only conclude that Trump has invented a new language, a new way of doing politics.
It goes something like this: When I lose, I win — pretty simple, pretty basic. Not only that, but when they win, they lose.
