What's in Store for Priebus?

THE TRUMP ORGANIZATION, 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE — Donald Trump has given his Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, until July 4 to clean up the chaos in the White House, as reported in yesterday’s Politico by Tara Palmeri.

It’s clearly an impossible task, so we predict that Priebus will celebrate Independence Day as a free man, either as ambassador to Greece or as a private citizen.

Then, either Jared Kushner will be named Chief of Staff, or Trump’s private lawyer, Marc Kasowitz; or maybe he’ll just outsource the Chief of Staff job to the NRA’s top gunslinger, Wayne LaPierre. As we’ve stated more than once, Trump wants to replace the First Amendment with the Second Amendment.

Priebus’ job has been made even more challenging by today’s lawsuit against Trump by the Attorneys General of Maryland and the District of Columbia for Trump’s blatant violations of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, and the the unanimous ruling by the Ninth Circuit invalidating his notorious Muslim travel ban.
