TRUMPVILLE — On Saturday, campaigning in Iowa, Donald Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters.”
One sure Trump voter is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/2015/12/15/tom-brady-stands-his-support-friend-donald-trump/9aa05koGT27w4hMz6yZ63I/story.html).
After Brady lost to Peyton Manning today at Mile High Stadium, Trump considered, for a moment, calling Brady a loser, but then, prompted by a solitary reporter, he recalled what he said in Iowa on Saturday about the loyalty of his supporters. “I’m sure,” The Donald said, "I can find a place in my inner circle for Tom Brady, because I reward loyalty.”
At least now we know that Trump will not shoot Tom Brady on Fifth Avenue or elsewhere.
