BACHMANN WEIGHS IN ON OBAMA'S IMMIGRATION PROPOSAL

WASHINGTON — Although the 113th Congress has been meeting for only a few days, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.) was rather bored with the agenda proposed by House Speaker John Boehner until today, when an aide told her that President Obama plans to introduce legislation calling for comprehensive immigration reform, including a path to citizenship for people who entered the United States illegally.

“Everybody knows that Barack Obama was born in Indonesia, which means he's not eligible to hold the highest office in the land,” Bachmann told her constituents in Stillwater, Minnesota, at a town hall meeting.

“By proposing legislation that would allow for amnesty for illegal immigrants,” Bachmann continued, “he's just trying to sneak into the White House through the back door.”

"Obviously, the voters should've elected me president instead."

When asked by a solitary reporter for comment on Bachmann's statement, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, “She might want to talk to Donald Trump about where he thinks the president was born.”
