Putin's Plan for Arrested Opposition Leader

THE KREMLIN – Disaffection with Russian President Putin is met with great disfavor, so when prominent opposition leader Alexei Navalny led a protest today against corruption in high places, he was arrested.

Associate solitary reporter Foma Kheroshonsky slipped unobserved into Putin’s inner sanctum and overheard his conversation with Vladimir Pushkov, his Minister of Emergency Situations.

“Here is what I think we should do with that scum, Navalny,” Pushkov said. “Let’s brainwash him and send him to America and have him infiltrate The Trump Organization, which is now based in the White House. Once  he gets there, he will gain the confidence of Donald Trump, who will give him a top-secret briefing every day, and then Navalny will go directly to our ambassador, Sergei Kislyak. This will be a lot cheaper than all that elaborate hacking that we did last year.”

“Good work,” Putin said. “Get it started."
