Trump Finds Job For Christie At His New Jersey Resort

Earlier today, Politico’s Alex Isenstadt reported that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wants the job currently occupied by Reince Priebus, Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff-in-waiting. Priebus, originally a political operative in Wisconsin, a state which Trump wasn’t supposed to win, somehow survived the GOP presidential primary campaign as Chairman of the Republican National Committee without having been trash-talked into oblivion by Trump. He still has that job, but he gets a new job in January as Trump’s chief lackey, and  he even got to have dinner with the president-elect and Mitt Romney at a fancy Manhattan restaurant yesterday.

Christie was supposed to be the big time transition planner for Trump, who, incidentally, wasn’t even supposed to be elected to be the leader of the free world.

Then, he was pushed aside by Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and replaced with hard right conservative Mike Pence, who gets to be sworn in a minute or two before Trump by Chief Justice John Roberts on January 20, assuming that Roberts remembers his lines.

On November 12, we reported that Trump found a job for Christie laying asphalt outside Trump Tower, and yesterday, we reported that Secretary of Transportation-designate Elaine Chao got a job for him as a toll collector at Fort Lee.

Associate solitary reporter Johanna Jones, our top journalist, just informed us that Trump has decided to give Christie the job of head maintenance man at Trump’s International Golf Course and Resort in Bedminister, New Jersey, 45 minutes from Trump Tower.

“Chris will be in charge of all the golf carts there,” Trump told Jones, “provided he isn't too fat to drive any one of them."
