BEVERLY HILLS — Cheryl Boone Isaacs, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is unhappy.
Earlier today, as soon as the Oscar nominations were announced, GOP presidential wannabe Chris Christie bravadoed himself into Isaacs’ palatial home, vigorously, but not virtuously, proclaiming that he, and he alone, should have been nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor In a Leading Role, based on his recent on-film performances, in which he has pretended that he knew nothing ahead of time about the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge in September.
Christie’s entrance into Isaacs’ home was photographed by a solitary reporter.
Amy Adams, nominated for Best Actress In a Leading Role, for her sizzling performance in American Hustle, said that she will never appear on set or on stage with Christie. “I’m very svelte,” Adams said, “and in the sex scenes he would crush me."
Beverly Hills’ Mayor, John Mirisch, promptly confiscated the solitary reporter’s film.
